Acceptance of Terms

By using ConvertX you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Using the converter is free and does not require an account.

Acceptable Use

ConvertX is intended for legitimate personal and professional use: converting your own images or images you have permission to convert. You agree not to use the service to convert stolen content, to disrupt the service, to attempt to compromise the server, to send automated flood requests, or to use the converters in any way that violates applicable law.

Prohibited Uploads

Do not upload files containing malicious code, scripts, hidden executables, or content designed to exploit the service or other users. SVG uploads are automatically checked for scripts and unsafe content; files that fail these checks are rejected. Uploads of child sexual abuse material or any other illegal content are forbidden and will be handled per applicable law.

You remain the owner of your files and are solely responsible for the content you upload and convert. By converting a file you confirm that you hold the rights to do so, or that the file is in the public domain or otherwise freely usable. ConvertX does not claim any ownership of your images.

Format and File-Size Limitations

The service supports conversion between the formats listed on the converter directory: PNG, JPG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, TIFF, TIF, and SVG inputs, with PNG, JPG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, TIFF, and TIF outputs. Uploads are limited to 10 MB and 40 megapixels. The service reserves the right to reject files that exceed these limits or that cannot be read safely.

Service Availability

ConvertX is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The service may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons beyond the administrator's control. The service may be modified, expanded, or discontinued, and conversion limits may change, with or without notice.

No Guarantee of Feature Preservation

Different image formats support different features. Converting a GIF loses animation, converting a transparent PNG to JPG flattens transparency onto a background color, and lossy outputs such as JPG discard some visual detail. ConvertX does not guarantee that every feature of the source file survives conversion, and it is your responsibility to verify that the converted file suits your use case.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConvertX and its administrator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data. Always keep a copy of your original files.

Changes to the Service

These terms may be updated as the service evolves. The “Last updated” date above shows when the terms were last revised. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the revised terms.
